Join our festival family! Here’s everything you need to know about volunteering at this year’s festival, September 17-20, 2026.

Volunteer registration is open!

1. Visit our Bloomerang Volunteer Registration Portal
2. Click the green “Volunteer” button
3. Follow the step-by-step instructions to complete your registration, and scheduling. When scheduling, select a “Role” first to populate open and available shifts. If you do not see the time slot or location, it means the shift is full.
4. Download the Bloomerang Volunteer App (App Store, Google Play Store). The app allows you to check your schedule, add/change shifts, check-in, and receive important festival information.

• One unique email address per volunteer profile
• If shifts appear unavailable, they are already filled
• Please mark [email protected] as a “safe sender”

Key Dates:

• Volunteer Kick-Off Party: Wednesday, August 12th, 6:00 PM at the Folkert Community Hub
  Let us say “thank you” first!  This event is for current and potential volunteers, serving as the “kick-off” of our MIMF season. We will treat you to dinner and beverages, tell you what is new for 2026, send you home with yard signs, merch, and more! You don’t want to miss this event in August. This is a great entry for new volunteers to learn about the operations of the festival, matching your skills and interest. Plus, you meet a bunch of new friends you will reunite with one month later! Join us… and bring a friend!
• Volunteer Orientation: Wednesday, September 16, 6:00 PM at Heritage Landing
  Join us at Heritage Landing on “Festival Eve” to get your volunteer t-shirt, receive training about what your job entails, help set up chairs, get a tour of the grounds. You’ll be treated to a couple of pints and a surprise musical performance.
