Black Murray is a high-energy acoustic quartet playing a mix of traditional and reinterpreted Irish songs and fiddle tunes, classic contemporary songs, and originals. Voted Best Folk band/artist in WDIV’s 2023 Vote for the Best rankings, Black Murray is at home in a variety of setting including Irish and themed festivals; private events; and pubs.

Formed in 2017 for the Michigan Renaissance Festival, the current line-up includes Grace Chung on percussion, whistle, melodica, mandolin, and vocals (not all at once), V Cieri on fiddle and vocals, Allan McMillan on guitar and vocals, and Daniel New on bass and vocals.
