Dave Curley, a force in the Irish music scene, is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and dancer from Co. Galway in the west of Ireland. Whether the guitar, mandolin, banjo, or bodhrán, he plays with masterful finesse and undeniable, rosy-cheeked charm. No stranger to the Festival, Dave is best known as a member of award-winning bands Slide and One for the Foxes, but patrons may also recognize him from the many cultural presentations he’s led at the Festival over the years.
When Dave isn’t on tour, he performs with the house band at Raglan Road in Disney Springs at Disney World (with Irish musician Colin Farrell). In 2022, Dave was awarded “Male Vocalist of the Year” by ACLSR, following on from “Album of the Year” with his trio One for the Foxes in 2021.
