If you can’t be in Ireland to watch the Michigan Irish Music Initiative, then join us in an Irish Pub.
This is our second Michigan Irish Music Initiative and the first time it will stream on the screens of Hennessy’s Pub in Downtown Muskegon.
What is the MIMI?
Michigan Irish Music Festival brings together aspiring musicians associated with colleges or organizations, who focus on Irish traditional music. The musical acts perform in a high-level competition. This year the competition takes place at the Spirit Store in Dundalk Co. Louth, Ireland. And you can watch the 10 selected bands performing via the LIVE broadcast at Hennessy’s Pub in Downtown Muskegon, Michigan…home of the Michigan Irish Music Festival.
The winners get the opportunity to perform on the main stage at the 2018 Michigan Irish Music Festival! The 2016 MIMI winners were Strung; you may remember their captivating appearance at the 2016 MIMF.
